Buffs and Stuff
Thank you once again for taking up TRP2 and thank you for this forum site as well.
I am a big fan of TRP2 as well as GHI (Gryphon Heart Items). Both have very similar aspects -but if I could only use one-it would be TRP2.
One of the main features of GHI has that TRP2 does not -is the ability to create Rp buffs. I would like to see TRP2 maybe offer this feature in its program. I enjoy GHI- and a few members who run features on the GHI are from Earthen Ring-but currently they are losing my favor.
I mentioned on another thread here in the forum-about any likelihood of having a 'Help' thread- for those of us who would like to learn how to do the 'Quest' feature. I think that would be a big plus and would surely win much more support for this add on-if the quest feature-or how to work it-was a bit more simplified. What are the chances of that happening?
Once again, Thank You for taking up TRP2--I am a big fan of it and want to continue to be.

Re: Buffs and Stuff
You can already do this, it's called states, which are just to the right of items in the database.

i was thinking that the in app help features (or atleast the english ones) need revising a little, perhaps with an improved layout (i had something like the bet book in the interface for an improved layout.) i was gonna make the suggestion to Ellypse next time we talked, but i guess this should sufficeSeriena wrote:

Like said above, this system is called auras (it was originally states in French, so they are not called buffs, but they act the same way)Seriena wrote:One of the main features of GHI has that TRP2 does not -is the ability to create Rp buffs. I've opened a new forum category called "Tutorials". Anyone can post there and I'm trying to aggregate tutorials from around the web. I haven't found an english tutorial yet (not that I have search the entire internet ^^), so if someone made one or know a where there is a good one, they can post it there for everyone.Seriena wrote:I mentioned on another thread here in the forum-about any likelihood of having a 'Help' thread- for those of us who would like to learn how to do the 'Quest' feature. About simplifying the quest system, I had a great suggestion from one of my guild member about a graphic representation of the quest workflow, with arrows going from one stage to another, with the possible interactions with their summary. I love that idea and it is high on my todo list. I'm working on a lot of things right now and I will see how I can implement this.
